  16. I just bought a Canon LBP-430 laser printer. I tried it out first on
  17. my IBM clone and it worked fine. I then downloaded the drivers for the
  18. Amiga and hooked it to my Amiga 2000. When I tried to boot, the
  19. computer just locked up. I unhooked the printer, and the computer
  20. booted fine. After double checking my cables I tried booting with the
  21. printer hooked up again. This time the printer FRIED ONE OF MY CIA
  22. CHIPS! I have replaced the CIA and have my computer working again, but
  23. I need to know WHY the printer fried my CIA chip and WHAT I can do
  24. about it.

  26. I have used Canon BJ-200's and Epson Stylus 800's on my Amiga 2000
  27. without any problems! What is different about this Canon LBP-430 laser
  28. printer? Does anyone know????
